November 2010 Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

Howdy and Happy Turkey Day!

I don't know about you, but I am stuffed like a turkey.
Stick a fork in me.
I'm done.

Got just enough energy left to post these tags I made this week for the blog hop. The challenge this month was to create a tag (or two) to inspire others. Here's hoping these do it.

Sometimes you just want a bigger tag. So I used the bookmark die from PTI for this tag. This is an easy peasy tag that can easily be mass-produced. The jar is from IKEA. I imagine I will use these jars to make some of those gift-in-a-jars. You know - where you layer the ingredients for cookies or something like that.

And sometimes you want something a little more elaborate or special. Again, I used the bookmark die, but this time I used lots of Christmas "sayings" stamps in different colors and the cutey bird from "Tiny Treats: Christmas". I wouldn't recommend this one for mass-production.

Enjoy the blog hop and enjoy the rest of your holiday weekend.

Now go forth and help this struggling economy. (In other words, have fun shopping tomorrow. I know I will!)

I love how you used the bookmark for a tag! That second one is incredible but I am sure you are right more of a one of a kind creation!

Awesome! I love the bookmark size for a big tag on a gift bag. And those gift jars will be a big hit!

Cool idea for a tag - I would never have thought of using that die. So great!

What a great idea to use the bookmark die as a tag! Then, if they want to later on, they could still use it for a bookmark! Super cute!

Both tags are wonderful with their very distinct feels. My favorite is the very colorful second tag. It's just so happy.
